昔の「うたばん」やら何やらを見ていて思うのは、
４期までのメンバーには、ひとりとして余剰人員がいないことだ。
この子でなければダメという雰囲気を持っている。
それが今のゴロッキーズ中心のモーニング娘。に決定的に欠けているものだ。
例えば最近の娘。の曲を昔のメンバーで歌っても違和感はないだろうが、
今のメンバーが昔の曲を歌うと違和感だらけだ。
コンサートに行くと、ことさらにそれを感じてしまう。
昔のメンバーに代えはきかない。だが、今のメンバーにはいくらでも代えがあるように思えてならないのだ。
チャーミー石川の代わりは、おじゃマルシェ紺野にもエリザベス亀井（キャメイ）にもできない。
逆にふたりの代わりはチャーミー石川でもできる。
それが素直な感想である。
