Windowsの98、98SE、Meが7/11でサポート終了となります。
時代の変化を感じさせるなあ。
考えてみたら、私がWindowsパソコンを手に入れたのは10年以上前。あのWindows95騒ぎのときでした。
あのときの機材と比較すると、現在ではCPUの速度は30倍、メモリ容量は64倍、HDDに至っては600倍です！
メーカーもNEC→Gateway→DELL→DELLと変わって。
その割りに価格は……却って安くなってるし。
……10年って長かったんだなあ。
その前なんて大学の研究室でDOSを積んだ（ものによっては積んでいない）パソコンで
いろいろとやっていたわけで。
もうあの時代にはいろいろな意味で戻れません。
今さらBASICとかFORTRANとかアセンブラじゃないよね？
