震災の当日には炉心溶融が予測されていたにもかかわらず、
なぜ対応が遅れたのか？
しかし菅直人首相は１２日早朝、原子力安全委員会の 班目春樹委員長と予定通り現地を視察。政府与党内からは、 溶融の兆候が表れた非常時の視察敢行で、応急措置の実施を含めた 政策決定に遅れが生じたとの見方も出ている。 初動判断のミスで事態深刻化を招いた可能性があり、首相と班目氏の 責任が問われそうだ。
