このDVDボックスにはお断りがあって、つまりは諸般の事情で何箇所か音声をカットしているわけである。
スカパーで放送したときにはどうだっただろう？　但し書きつきで放送したんだっけ？
　
とにかく最終回の「大西洋陽はまた昇る」だけを見たわけだが、なるほどと別の意味で頷かざるを得なかった。
やっぱり今の目で見るとキツイんですよ。完成度も高いとはいえないし。
まだ「どろろ」（もちろんモノクロのアニメ版）のほうが見れるね。っていうか完成度高い。
やはりここではトミノヨシユキの手腕はその萌芽を垣間見せるだけで、
それが開花するにはもう少し時間が必要なのだったと感じる。
……インタビューでも「ライディーン」のときと同じようなこと言ってるしな。
　
やっぱりトミノ作品を見るのなら「ザンボット」以降にしたほうがいいのかな、と思ったよ。
